350 ὧι προσπεσοῦμαι καὶ περιπτύσσων χέρας
ὄνομα καλῶν σὸν τὴν φίλην ἐν ἀγκάλαις
δόξω γυναῖκα καίπερ οὐκ ἔχων ἔχειν·
ψυχρὰν μέν, οἶμαι, τέρψιν, ἀλλ’ ὅμως βάρος
ψυχῆς ἀπαντλοίην ἄν. ἐν δ’ ὀνείρασιν
355 φοιτῶσά μ’ εὐφραίνοις ἄν·
